Terms & Conditions
 

Parents or Guardians are required to sign the enclosed registration form and acknowledge receipt of these terms and conditions.

  1. To secure a child’s place prior to the start date the parent (s) shall arrange for payment of a booking deposit (three weeks fees).
  2. For ECCE children one weeks seposit will be taken and held for the month of September. This amount will then be returned to the child's account at the beginning of October.
  3. All fees should be paid in advance at the beginning of each week / month by standing order. It is the parents choice whether or not they wish to pay weekly or monthly. Cheques, postal orders and bank drafts will also be accepted but not cash.  Monthly payments are calculated over 52 weeks and divided by 12 monthly payments.
  4. Pugwash Bay may require the parent (s) to withdraw or remove the child from the crèche in the event that - staff in there opinion feel that the child requires special medical care or attention which is not available or which is refused by the parent (s) - it is reasonable to believe that the child is or may be suffering or has suffered from any communicable illness, and there remains a danger that other children at the crèche may contract such disease.
  5. The Parent (s) shall not be entitled to any refund of fees when a child is absent from the pre school e.g. illness or holiday. Fees are calculated over 50 weeks but payments are spread across the 52 weeks of the year.
  6. When more than one child attends the pre school from the same family a 10% discount will apply to the eldest child's fee. This applies to 5 full day care only.
  7. Pugwash Bay may increase the monthly fee annually based on 30 days notice. Fees are reviewed in January of each year and may be increased at this time.
  8. Liability-
    • Pugwash Bay accepts no liability for any pecuniary or other loss suffered by the Parent (s) arising directly or indirectly as a result of the pre school being temporarily closed or the non admittance of the child to the Pre school for any reason.
  9. Termination –Cancellation
    • If the parent (s) cancel the place during the two months prior to the agreed start-date, Pugwash Bay will retain the Booking deposit.
    • Any postponements of the start date require 2 months notice, failing which the monthly fee will be charged from the original start date.
    • Once started either party shall be entitled to terminate or change the agreement according to availability at any time, upon giving the other one month’s notice, or if either party shall be in material breach of the agreement and shall fail to cure such breach within 7 days, following service by other party of written notice specifying the details of such breach.
    • Three weeks notice is required when a child is leaving the service. Pugwash Bay shall have the right to receive full payment during notice period whether the child attends the crèche or not.
    • Pugwash Bay will refund any over payments made.
  10. Late pick–ups - Parents must respect the commitments of staff. Any late pick up after 6pm  (6.30pm in Mornington) will be charged €10.00
